San Diego artist Josie Rodriguez was accepted for the Cannon Art Gallery 2011 Juried Biennial in Carlsbad CA. Her encaustic piece, Salt Flats II (right) was selected and is one in a series using sumi ink, salt and wax. The show runs January 30-March 18, 2011.Burnt Offerings an encaustic piece was also juried into the Tubac Center of the Arts national juried show, Playing with Fire. March 18- May 2, 2011.
