ENCAUSTIC ART INSTITUTE IS MOVING TO SANTA FE
WHAT A GREAT YEAR IT'S GOING TO BE!
The Encaustic Art Institute (EAI) has been looking for the past three years for the perfect space and location in downtown Santa Fe (the second largest art market in America) to move the members gallery and permanent collection gallery - while keeping our present location the educational and workshop arm of the institute. As of January 1st, we have signed an agreement on a long-term lease for this 4,500 s. f. beautiful space at 632 Agua Fria in the Historic Railyard Art District of Santa Fe.
The advantages of membership are many, and now with the gallery moving to Santa Fe, you will have an expanded opportunity to exhibit and sell your art in the second largest international art market in the nation. EAI will be open year-around, five days a week with extended hours, expanding our reach in promoting the encaustic/wax movement at large and our individual member's artwork.
Our grand opening is set for Friday, March 27th, so time is of the essence to get this major move ready for the opening. As current members, you are allowed up to 2 pieces of work, with one that will always be up for sale and the other one in rotation. If you do not have a painting with us, you can send artwork no larger than 36x36 inches to our current location at: EAI, 18 County Road 55A, Cerrillos, NM 87010
To be part of the opening, paintings must arrive no later than
Friday March 6, 2015
Print and Attach Artwork Label
Paintings that arrive without a label secured on the back will not be hung

We need your support. I hope you will agree that this is a monumental move and a wonderful opportunity for all of us. As you know, EAI is a non-profit 501 C3 and relies heavily on fund-raising efforts. With this important move, there are many expenses that EAI has not incurred before. We have on board a grant -writer who is busy getting ready for the Fall 2015 deadlines. Until then, we will continue our efforts to expand membership and look for patrons. If you are able to donate at this time, with any amount to support the expansion of EAI, it would be very appreciated. To contribute, Please go to Support Us on the EAI website to make a tax deductible donation.
