Schaeffer Studio.

Description: Willow will assume that you have a basic understanding of encaustic
technique and will focus on teaching her style of painting. She will teach you how to set up your studio
so that it lends itself to vertically painting an encaustic image. Topics
covered: Using a heated pallet to mix colors of oil paint and encaustic medium,
painting with brush and palate knife, scraping and fusing on vertical panel,
and how to work with drawing materials and encaustic on paper.
The more advanced you are in encaustic technique, the more you will advance in incorporating Willow's teaching into your own style. However, even if you have only a basic understanding of encaustic, Willow will be able to help you learn much more about the many uses of this wonderful medium.
