Join
Canadian Artist/Educator Erna de Vries for an exciting venture into the world
of encaustics as you
explore
this ancient painting technique which has made a resurgence today. This 2-day workshop will allow both beginner
and experienced participants to unleash their creativity while developing
encaustic skills. Demonstrations in priming,
fusing, colour mixing, texturing along with mono printing and collage will
enable participants to incorporate these techniques into unique and individual
works of art. A special emphasis will be
on image transfers with personalized
transfers made for you by the instructor and available upon your arrival. Dialogues, discussion and interaction will
round out the encaustic experience. All
supplies/tools and equipment is provided however participants are encouraged to
bring personal collage items.

To secure you place the full class fee of $250 is required with
registration – a non- refundable $50 fee will be deducted for cancellations
prior to March 1, 2015 after which no refunds will be given. There are 3 remaining places left in the
